Privacy Policy and Data Protection
What
are cookies?
A cookie is a small file of letters and numbers that is downloaded
on to your computer when you visit a website. Cookies are used by many websites
and can do a number of things, e.g. remembering your preferences, recording what
you have put in your shopping basket, and counting the number of people looking
at a website.
New EU Regulations, effective from 26th May 2011, require websites
to give users an informed choice about how to handle cookies.Collection
of data
This website does not collect or store any personal information,
except where anybody may fill in any contact form, or use in-built features such
as Comment boxes or Like and Share buttons, to communicate with the website owner.
Data supplied on any contact form is not stored in any other retrieval system
and will never be sold or passed to third parties or used for marketing purposes,
without further consent, but is used purely to maintain communication with the
person who initiated the enquiry.
Analytical
data
This website is linked to Google
Analytics, which provides summary data about visitors. This data is presented
as statistics and no individual can be identified, nor can data be analysed to
create profiles of individuals. Google Analytics uses three cookies to track which
pages are accessed.
This
data is very useful for establishing the volume of people using the site and the
type of content people are most interested in. It allows us to tailor website
content to best serve our clients' customers. You can, however, download
a browser add-on from Google which will prevent Google Analytics from collecting
data about the websites and pages you visit.
Links
to external websites
This website may contain links to external websites
and social media sites such as Facebook, Twitter and Google+. No personal data
is passed to those websites if you follow a link. We will never add links which
are knowingly unsafe or malicious, however you should always check the cookies
and privacy policies of external sites if you have any concerns. We cannot be
responsible for external content or sites. If you have any concerns, there are
some useful links at the bottom of this page which may help to answer your questions.
Consent
Use
of this website indicates your consent to the collection and use of information
as described in this policy.
